About Me

Hi, I’m Kimberley! Living in Kent, England, happily married to Gavin, mum to two fantastic girls and much, much more!

In no particular order I am a teacher, heritage educator, friend, business owner, blogger, crafter, baker, foodie, chocoholic and lover of life.

Helping other people is my calling, and I thrive on working out solutions to other people’s issues, dilemmas and life problems.

My mid thirties saw a lot of changes in my life and I struggled to cope with it all. I was so many things to so many people that I lost my identity.

I knew I needed to gain back some much needed control and starting my own business gave me the autonomy I needed to feel more settled and a way to be ‘Kimberley’.

I took the bold decisions to give up my steady job in teaching to be my own boss full time and although a pandemic tried to derail me shortly after that, it takes more than a global crisis to keep this girl down!

As perimenopause hit me in my early 40s I used my business as a way of grounding me and keeping my happiness as a priority.

I did a lot of work on myself; read books, had counselling, listened to podcasts, all of which gave me the mental strength to not only help myself, but to help others too.
